Adults, in charge of what they see.

Users must be at least 18 years old to create a YourSpace account. At signup every user must explicitly confirm they are 18 or older; the confirmation is stored on their account.

Users who indicate they are under 18, or who are reported and confirmed to be under 18, are removed and their content is deleted.

Posts that contain nudity, sexual content, or graphic imagery must be marked sensitive by the creator. Automated detection flags additional posts that creators missed.

Sensitive posts are hidden by default for every signed-in user. To see them, a user must explicitly enable "Show sensitive content" via their account settings on our web or Android platform (confirming again that they are 18+), which will then be respected across all connected sessions. Even after opting in, sensitive media is blurred with a "tap to reveal" warning.

Spaces (communities) and profiles that regularly post adult content are labeled 18+ and hidden from Search and Explore for anyone who hasn't opted in.

Regardless of age, no user may post:

• Any content that sexualizes minors (CSAM). Zero tolerance.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn"), leaks, or content published without the subject's consent.
• Real-world violence, torture, gore, or death imagery.
• Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites self-harm, suicide, terrorism, or hate against protected groups.
• Human trafficking, exploitation, or the sale of illegal goods.
• Deepfake or non-consensual sexual imagery of any real person.
• Bestiality or content depicting harm to animals.

Violations are removed on report. Repeat offenders and any CSAM-adjacent content result in account termination and, where required by law, reports to NCMEC and cooperating authorities.

Every post, comment, profile, and space has a Report action, and every profile and post has a one-tap Block action. Blocking a user immediately hides their posts, comments, and profile from you and prevents them from messaging or interacting with you.

Reports go directly to our moderation queue. We commit to reviewing every report within 24 hours, and we prioritize the most severe categories (CSAM, threats of violence, doxxing, non-consensual imagery) for immediate action.

Space moderators can remove content and ban users within their space. Platform moderators can remove content and suspend accounts platform-wide. Users whose content or conduct violates these rules can be permanently removed from YourSpace.

Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted. The server never sees the plaintext of your DMs. Group message keys are derived per-member, so removing a member rotates the group's key automatically.
